Hello! I'm Anaelle :)

My name is Anaelle, and I’m a 26-year-old photographer based in Lausanne, Switzerland. Photography has been my passion since I was a teenager, when I loved organizing photoshoots with my friends. I chose to pursue my studies in the arts, starting with a focus on Visual Arts in Highschool, and then beginning my bachelor’s degree in Visual Communication with a concentration in Graphic Design at ECAL. I graduated in 2022, and it was then that I decided to follow my heart and fully dedicate myself to photography — my first true love.

It might sound a bit corny, but I’m in love with love. By that, I mean what I cherish most is witnessing people in love and capturing those moments in time. Whether it’s the love of a parent for their child, a couple in love, or someone taking a moment to appreciate themselves — I’m already excited about the possibility of being part of a small slice of your life and preserving a moment that will last a lifetime.

My approach of photography

It’s essential to me that you feel comfortable and relaxed in front of my camera. That’s why I encourage you to be yourself and embrace the moment. I focus on capturing spontaneous and candid moments, where you can let go, laugh, and connect with your loved ones, almost forgetting the camera is even there.

I believe that the best photos are the ones that tell a story, capturing the essence of your relationships and genuine emotions. Rather than staging poses, I aim to create unique and meaningful moments where you can truly enjoy each other’s company.

My goal is to capture images with soul — photos that genuinely reflect who you are and what you feel. Together, we will create timeless visual memories, images that tell your story in an authentic and lively way.

I love nature — I could spend all my time in the forest or the mountains! And flowers, I adore even more.

I’m originally from Spain (I speak Spanish, though I have to admit it’s a bit rusty) but I'm born in Switzerland with Spanish nationality.

If you want to make me happy, take me on a thrift shopping day and get overpriced coffee.

My element is water — I become a fish whenever I’m in it.

My favorite films are Mulholland Drive, Midsommar, and Moonrise Kingdom (yes, they’re a bit strange...).

My favorite books? Anything written by David Foenkinos.

The places I dream of visiting: the United States (Oregon, Utah, California, Washington state and New York in particular), Japan, Indonesia, Hawaii, Argentina, Peru...

My favorite trip so far? Iceland!
